
To claim a free box:
Anyone living within our current delivery zones is eligible to claim a box.
If you are experiencing financial hardship and need help with eating well, please claim a box for you and your whānau.
The availability of free boxes depends on orders from the Pay it Forward page. These orders are processed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Free shipping
Our system will automatically add a $5 delivery fee. This fee has been covered by the person paying the meal forward: please select the 'add on' (free shipping) option.
Changing recipes
We are not able to change recipes for donated boxes. To receive a gluten free box, please add a note requesting gluten free to your order when checking out.
Order limit
Free boxes are limited to a maximum of 2 boxes per household, per week. Yum Jar meals should be consumed within a week of delivery, and a lot of the ingredients we provide cannot be frozen, so please only order what your household can manage in 1 week.
I've claimed a box, what now?
1. You will receive an automated confirmation email once your order goes through. If you do not receive it, check your spam, and email us if you can't find it. Adding yumjarnz@gmail.com to your contacts can help avoid your spam filters.
2. We will process your order and add it to the next available delivery day for your address. You will receive a reminder email the day before your delivery. If you do not receive a reminder email within 7 days of claiming, please email us to let us know.
3. We will deliver your order between 9am-5pm on the day specified in the reminder email.
4. Once you've got your box, check out the Meal Box Instructions page for all the information about what to do with the contents, which recipes it contains, and how to cook them. Enjoy your meals!
5. Washed reusable jars, lids, defrosted icepacks, and carboard boxes can be returned to us after you are finished with them. Please get in touch via email to arrange collection or a drop off.
