Yum Jar is open for 2020!

Happy new year everyone! 

Hope you all have had a great past few weeks! Our small team had a very well earned break and we are back and ready to roll for 2020. 

The most exciting development to happen for us over the break was the purchase of our brand new electric vehicle! After lots of investigation and much deliberation, we decided to go with a Nissan Leaf. Though 2nd hand, this one still has a battery range big enough to cover our delivery zone without needing recharging, a spacious interior for Yum Jars to travel, and a great safety rating to keep our team safe on the road. By making switch to 100% EV we are now super proud to say we are totally zero carbon with our deliveries! And as usual our CBD deliveries will still be delivered by the super cyclists from Nocar Cargo.

The new Yum Car will be getting a sparkly makeover with our branding soon so you can spot it coming with your orders a mile away! Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to our Pledgeme to make this happen, and a special shoutout to Wellington City Council, Meridian Energy & PWC for their match-funding, without which we wouldn't have been able to make this investment so early on in the year.

Please note we sadly will be closed the following week of 21st January for kitchen renovations, but back for the foreseeable future in February! Apologies for the inconvenience. Subscriptions will be available to purchase from Monday 27th January.
