Time for a Christmas Break!

Well itâs finally that time of year! Not going to lie, itâs gone so fast I can barely believe it. As I set up our spreadsheet for next week with the name âWeek 50â Iâm asking myself âdid I really just work another 50 weeks in a row?â The answer is yes, but I can definitely say, this year has honestly been such a smooth ride compared to previous years, it really doesnât feel like it. I know that itâs been a really tough year for many, for a myriad of reasons, so a few thanks are definitely in order.
Firstly, a big thanks to my amazing team: Fiver, Mia, Gordy, Simon & Dave! Reliable, hard-working, and a pleasure to work with! Canât wait to have you all back in 2026. đ
Second, to our fellow building neighbours: Nonstop Solutions, Organic Waste Management, Kaicycle & Vonuts! Itâs been so great to collaborate together and keep Cairns St Hub a hive of positive vibes and sustainable mahi this year! đŞ
Thirdly, I want to send my thanks to all our awesome local suppliers: Capital Produce, Hands Down NZ, Raglan Food Co, Chalmers Organics, Ripe Coffee, Ritual Tea Company, Fix & Fogg, Davis, & Little Farms. 𤊠We love your products and we are stoked to be able to support other local NZ food producers. If you have any suggestions for great NZ products you would like to see us use/try/sell next year, please let us know!

Time for a Christmas Break! đď¸
We all deserve a break over the summertime; to spend time with friends and whanau, rest, and prepare for 2026. Therefore Yum Jar will be closing before Christmas, at the end of next week, for 3 weeks! We usually take 2, but thanks to a fortunately steady year, we are able to take a little extra for once!

Last delivery day this year: Sat 20th December

Orders open: Tuesday 6th January
Deliveries start: Tuesday 13th January
Subscription-holders please note: as per usual we will be cancelling all subscriptions over the break so that no orders past Dec 20th can be placed, and so we can make some changes to the website. This means that in 2026 you will need to begin a completely new subscription. We do apologise for the inconvenience, it just really is the only way to make sure no orders come through while we are away! Thanks for your understanding.
